What is your review about Samsung S20?

What is your review about Samsung S20 The first thing that caught our attention from the little information that was given out at the launch was the sleek design.

For the past few years, the smartphone world has been looking for a new design on the next top smartphones. After all, most of Samsung's flagships look identical and this gives the impression that the company's upcoming flagships have borrowed the design from the Mi-series. However, looking at the phone itself, we're pretty sure that the design will still be a marvel.

The company made a statement that the S20 would be "a fundamentally new design" which hints towards the possibility of a lot of improvements. We even saw a small model of the phone with a smooth curvy glass front to the body. That's something that we're sure to see in the upcoming S20 Ultra version.

The curved design of the phone has led to a lot of speculation that the display will come in two sizes. That would either be 6.2 or 6.7 inches with S Pen supporting digi-point integration.

Some have even said that the back of the phone would also be a sleek and slimmer version of the "S Pen Solo" that Samsung added earlier this year. While this is pure speculation, we can expect both 6.2 and 6.7 inches models to arrive on the market.

The device comes in five colors: Arched Blue, Atletico Blue, Black, Jade Black, and Modern Blue.

The S20 Ultra is no doubt going to be a showstopper. As expected, it will come with support for 5G bands in both Wi-Fi and 5G. And, just to prove that it is for real, the device has secured itself a spot as the only Samsung flagship to support 10G NR. While we can't put a price on that, we can expect the Galaxy S20 Ultra to fetch anywhere between $1,300 and $1,5,000 - yes, for the optional purchase of an S Pen.

In India, the phone has been priced at Rs 75,000 (~ $102) - that's around a 20% discount over the S20. The sticker price of the phone might change if it launches internationally later.

As for the processor, we're still awaiting more detail on which processor will be on the device. That said, it'll be powered by an octa-core Exynos 2100 chipset with 4K video recording functionality.

We've also decided to take a look at the camera section as this is the most important part of the smartphone. You'll find a 48MP selfie camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Both cameras will be able to shoot 4K videos at 60fps.

The rear camera has a 56MP + 2MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It will also be capable of 8K videos at 120fps. On the front of the device, you'll find an 8MP selfie camera.

As has been the case with the past few years, there aren't any Spectra-class cameras or biometric scanners on the smartphone. The phone supports 8K recording in UHD and would be able to record 16K video at 60fps. It's looking promising as the original Galaxy S20 was available with 8K recording - though that was ultimately the only use for that feature.

The phone also supports a pre-connectivity lock feature, though we can't tell if it'll be related to the new 5G capabilities. There are also no splash-downs.

Overall, we're feeling very bullish about the smartphone as the company took us through its competitively priced strategy of more affordable devices. We also have to give an extra nod to the company for providing two models of the phone to help you choose the phone for yourself.

Notably, Samsung will provide at least two RAM and storage options. The main S20 model has 8GB RAM and a 512GB storage option in it. This model will also also be the last to arrive as the next batch of Galaxy S20 Ultra is said to come with a $1,500 price tag. The device might arrive in October or November.

Last but not least, the launch event ended with more snippets on the Galaxy Watch series. The upcoming watch series is also said to support dual-sensing sensors such as ECG and accelerometer. We can expect the devices to land in the lineup of the S20 models or the 2-S series.

We'll be keeping you updated with any further updates.

Which is better, Samsung Galaxy S20 vs Samsung Galaxy S21?

The 2020 Samsung Galaxy S20 was undoubtedly a decent refresh. The 64GB S20 was pretty hard, but the base model had some decent additions. The S20 was quite a beautiful phone and with Samsung’s latest stuff was surprisingly a not-bad smartphone for the money. However, it had a lot of flaws and I had mixed reviews. Here I’m going to talk about which is better, between the S20 and S21.

If you are new to smartphones then this is a completely new generation. The S21 on the other hand is a very flagship looking phone and the biggest thing is that Samsung is phasing out the S20 for the S21S.

With that we should hear what you think.

What Is The S21 And S21S?

Let’s talk about the most popular question you’re asking: What is the S21 And S21S? The answer to this question is not a simple yes or no. Both phones have a premium glass body and they are slightly different which will lead to the difference. The S21 is more premium and the S21S is more affordable. This is purely based on the size and design of the phones.

The $799 S21 is basically the S21 in black and white colors and is a bit more expensive which makes it the more beautiful. Samsung kept the design of the S21 the same as the S20 so you don’t feel a downgrade. Another big difference between the two is the screen. The S21 is smaller with a 6.2 inch screen and the S21S is slightly larger and has a 6.8 inch screen. The S21s will have a greater display size than the S21.

The Galaxy S21 is slightly larger than the S21S.

What Is The Galaxy S21 And S21S Has?

The S21 has the always on display(AOC) plus the better speakers. The dual cameras are at the rear, with two a wide angle camera and three laser, primary RGB sensors, laser autofocus and four ultrawide angle sensors. While the S21S has the two sensors at the back as well but at the front.

The larger screen with the same resolution like the S21S.

The 5.2” bezel-less body is always on display for selfie videos. So no more camera bump. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera.

How Are They Both Different?

There are also some upgrades that make these phones different. The 5.2” Infinity 2.1 display is larger and it is super narrow. However, the always on display doesn’t have a notification notification pop-up because it is always on. Instead, it allows you to reply to notifications from you 6.2” screen. Which the S21S does not have. You’ll be able to control when you go always on display based on what app you are using.

The 5.2” Infinity 2.1 display is a larger screen and thinner and it is a narrower bezel-less display.

Finally Samsung added a 50% more power and a bigger battery size. This makes the S21S worth it because there is a bigger battery and a bigger display.

Winner And Which One You Should Consider?

I still think that the S21 has a clear advantage over the S21 and one big reason is that it’s the more expensive phone. The S21S is also more wallet friendly at the lower price and the processor for the phone is nearly similar so you wouldn’t even notice much difference. The only way to do is to dive into the performance and make sure the phone you are using will suit you.

But aside from that the S21S is best out of the two phones because it has a great battery life and the S21 has the best display on a budget. By the time 2020 rolls over, I predict the lineup of future flagship phones to get really great.
